In some cases you can return to work while receiving therapy. The staff of Advanced Care provides services to patients of any age. Our infusion nurses will provide you and your family with the support you need to feel comfortable with IV therapy at home.

We take great care to make sure you and your family members understand and can follow through with your individualized course of treatment. The Advanced Care pharmacist will consult with your primary care physician to define a complete plan of care. Our clinical team and support services include but are not limited to:
  • Pharmacy—Complete clinical monitoring, management of the therapy care plan, medication profile review and coordination of care as well as filling your prescribed infusion therapy
  • Durable Medical Equipment and Medical Supplies—IV pumps and poles, tubing needles, syringes, etc.
  • Nursing—including the administration of hyperalimentation, total parenteral nutrition, intravenous medications and IV fluids as well as family instruction

Infusion Nursing Services
We complete a thorough patient assessment prior to initiating infusion therapy at home to ensure home services are appropriate. Our infusion nurses:
  • Provide one-on-one training with patients and caregivers for self-administration of infusion therapies and management of pumps and other specialized equipment.
  • Are qualified for midline placements and IV catheter repair
  • Are available to the patient or caregiver at any time by phone should assistance be needed
Infusion Pharmacy
Clinical pharmacists work closely with the patient’s physician and the infusion nurse to coordinate care for the ordered therapies.
